<p>&#8220;Buying a car is enough to make anyone nervous. Most people would rather go to the dentist, than go through the process of buying a car&#8221;&#8230;So how does one present a car-buying program that gets people&#8217;s attention? <span id="more-3352"></span>Zag, a TrueCar company,provides the technology platform and network of hand-selected dealers to Consumer Reports&#8217; subscribers &#8211; someone just needed to know how to present the information in an attention-grabbing, engaging way.</p>
<h2>Solution:</h2>
<p>Zag and Consumer Reports called on the creative experts at ElectrifyMedia to dream up a non-threatening, fun and engaging way to convince viewers through an animated &#8220;How it Works&#8221; video. The cartoon animation and straight-up script speak to the heart of the car-buying consumer &#8211; and present the information in a unique, entertaining style.</p>

<p>Axolotl&#8217;s sales team was searching for a better way to present their EMR (electronic medical records) solutions to hospitals, physicians and health care communities. &#8220;Powerpoint-style presentations&#8221; were confusing and put prospects &#8220;to sleep&#8221;. An earlier &#8220;video production&#8221; from another vendor was expensive, yet &#8220;superficial&#8221; &#8211; and in the end, required the Axolotl team to do much of the heavy lifting. <p>Axolotl&#8217;s sales team needed to make a statement at the upcoming HIMSS Event. What they needed was an attention-grabbing vehicle to expand on Axolotl&#8217;s Health Information Exchange leadership and vision. Several &#8220;focus groups&#8221; were lined up with existing and potential customers at private breakout rooms at the event.</p>
<p>With the stage set, ElectrifyMedia crafted an engaging &#8220;concept&#8221; Flash demo that &#8220;went far beyond what any PowerPoint presentation could do!&#8221; The voiceover and &#8220;professional-looking animations&#8221; clearly communicated the key benefits and messages Axolotl wanted to convey. &#8220;We wanted to elicit communication and get folks thinking about all the possibilities &#8211; everyone was talking about what Axolotl&#8217;s doing!&#8221;<span id="more-437"></span></p>

<p>The Picture People partnered with ElectrifyMedia to produce a product launch DVD designed to motivate, communicate key benefits and introduce new digital imaging workflows to support the launch of the company&#8217;s new ‘SmileStore’ e-Commerce website. The new e-Commerce website was the biggest company initiative in recent years.<span id="more-373"></span></p>
<p>One challenge for the home office was to hype and motivate field associates. Initial store trials and deeper investigation unveiled field sensitivity to the new web store sales channel. ElectrifyMedia identified the need to craft the 3 chapter story, tying key messages and benefits to the point-of-view of “What’s in it for me?” for the associate managers.<br />
Working closely with the Picture People, ElectrifyMedia designed a full-circle, three chapter story: Message from the CEO; Workflow training; and<br />
“A Day in the Life” of a customer point-of-view vision piece.</p>
<p>Other challenges included dealing with the complexity of the new digital process. New software and product labeling were still in flux, but production needed to start in order to make the important launch date. Timing was critical to maximize the upcoming Holiday sales quarter.<br />
ElectrifyMedia’s project management expertise and breadth of advanced video and animation capabilities opened a range of new possibilities and provided the flexibility to meet all of these challenges &#8211; on time, on budget and on message.</p>
